Terms of Use
Agreement
These Terms govern use of the Image Converter apps for Android, iPhone and iPad and the JPG Image Converter Chrome extension. By installing or using an app or extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. Mandatory consumer rights and the terms of the store through which the product was obtained remain unaffected.
Service
Image Converter performs on-device conversion of image files explicitly selected by you. Supported behavior depends on the installed app version, operating system, available codecs, file validity, memory and storage, destination availability and access granted by you.
The apps and extension do not promise cloud conversion or continuous background execution. On iPhone and iPad, the system may suspend work in the background; in Chrome, the browser may suspend an extension page or reclaim local storage. Recoverable work resumes according to the state shown by the product.
User responsibility
You must have the right to process, convert, save and share selected content. You are responsible for inspecting important output and retaining any necessary original or backup. Do not use the app unlawfully, interfere with its security or services, attempt fraudulent purchase validation, or infringe third-party rights.
Technical limitations
The app cannot guarantee completion after data clearing, revoked file access, unavailable sources or destinations, provider failure, insufficient resources or operating-system termination. HEIC/HEIF and WebP behavior may depend on the installed platform and release. Unsupported animated input is rejected and is not silently converted to its first frame.
A successful result is encoded and verified by the app before it is offered for save or sharing. Some output formats and quality settings are inherently lossy. Always inspect important output before deleting an original.
Chrome webpage access
The extension may request optional access to the exact webpage origin you choose for a context-menu conversion. You are responsible for having the right to access and convert that image. The extension does not promise that protected, private, cross-origin or otherwise unavailable images can be fetched. The fallback is to download the original and add it through the local file picker.
Free tier, advertising and Pro
Free users can convert up to 20 images in one batch. Lifetime Pro users can convert up to 100 images, subject to the app's technical safety cap. The free tier may show consent-aware advertising where advertising is enabled. The apps do not offer rewarded ads or an advertising-based batch extension.
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It suppresses eligible in-app advertising and does not change the batch-size limit. The exact price and applicable taxes are displayed by Google Play or the Apple App Store before purchase.
- On Android, Google Play handles the purchase and applicable refund controls. Pro activates only after the purchase is verified. A pending, refunded, revoked, replayed or unverifiable purchase may not grant or may remove access.
- On iPhone and iPad, StoreKit and the Apple App Store handle purchase, restoration and applicable refund controls. A pending, unverified or revoked transaction does not grant or may remove access.
Restore is available for an eligible purchase made with the same store account on the same platform. Cross-platform entitlement is not promised.
Privacy and third-party services
Use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Google Play, Apple, StoreKit, Google Mobile Ads, User Messaging Platform and Firebase services are governed by their own terms and policies. Availability of third-party services is outside Sapiest Dev's sole control.
Availability
The apps and optional services may be updated, suspended or temporarily unavailable for security, reliability, compatibility, legal or policy reasons. Remote safety controls may disable advertising placements or optional network features without disabling local conversion.
Warranty and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available, without a guarantee that every file, codec, provider or destination will remain compatible. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sapiest Dev is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, loss of access to source or destination files, or failure to keep a backup. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the apps, services or law. The effective date identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to sapiest.dev@gmail.com.
